   The 9U Canton Thunder kicked off the 2010 Canton Cup with an impressive 2-0 win over the undefeated Van Buren Wildcats.

  The Thunder goals were scored by Jack Leto and Aaron Johnson. An impressive shutout was recorded by goalie Ryan Schmatz, who made many goal-saving plays.

  A great team effort was produced with strong two-way play by Jake Arnold, Nicholas Ontko, Jake Fedewa and Mario Kurili, who controlled the ball much of the game. The defense was led by Scott Stevens, Raamiz Qureshi and Connor Christian.
