Salem's regular season ends with 18-7 setback to Ann Arbor Huron

  The curtain came down on the Salem lacrosse team's regular season Monday night with an 18-7 loss to Ann Arbor Huron.

  The Rocks were outshot, 40-30, and won nine of the 23 face-offs.

  Nick Gianini shined in defeated for the Rocks, tallying three goals and seven ground balls. Dylan Hatcher, Jon Homrich, Steve Haburne and Connor Berlin scored single goals for Salem.

  Mason Amin, Garrett Berg and Drew Hisey picked up assists.

  Several Rocks picked up a number of ground balls, most notably Ryan Blakey (five), Amin (three), Berg (three) and Luke Johnson (three).

  Alex Gravlin made 12 saves between the pipes for Salem.
