catch against Rockford eerily similar to Dwight Clark's 'The Catch'

Plymouth senior receiver Brennen Beyer's fourth-and-7 catch
against Rockford Saturday afternoon (above left) has a lot of
similarities to San Francisco 49er receiver Dwight Clark's grab on Jan.
10, 1982.
Clark's grab -- which has been dubbed "The Catch" --
helped vault the 49ers into the Super Bowl while Beyer's amazing catch
preceded by one play his game-winning 25-yard TD reception that
propelled the Wildcats into Saturday's Division state championship game.
Both players extended their 6-foot-4 frames to the limit while
outjumping defenders.
