Canton student organizing blood drive at Summit on the Park

  Canton High School junior Amanda Druckenmiller is organizing a blood drive set for Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Summit on the Park in Canton.

  Every day, people across the United States step forward to help others in need by donating blood. But donations often slump during the summer months as donors become busy with seasonal activities and overlook donations.

  Amanda's is coordinating the blood drive as part of the Red Cross Summer Scholarship Program and she could use your help.
