GIRLS RESULTS
JOHN GLENN 16.5, CANTON 13.5: The
Chiefs jumped to an early lead by sweeping the two Baker games,
however, the Rockets stormed back to post the victory.
Lauren O'Bradovich led the Chiefs' effort with a two-game series
of 343. O'Bradovich tossed a 196 in game two. Also bowling well for
Canton were Ashley Cade (326) and Jackie Polaski (294).
Allyson Kassab paced the Rockets with a 422 series, which
included a 266 game.
WAYNE 27, PLYMOUTH 3: The
Zebras rolled to a decisive victory Stephanie O'Hanise's 397 series.
The Wildcats were led by Kristyn Sturtz's 306 series. Sturtz
registered a 144 in the first game and a 162 in the second. Tiffani
Patterson (286) and Allyson Gibbs (310) also turned in solid
performances for Plymouth.
NORTHVILLE 23, SALEM 7: After
the two teams split the Baker games, the Mustangs took control with
856-754 and 804-707 victories in the regular games.
Salem was led by Kristin Larkins' 369 series, which was
highlighted by a 205 in game two. Also scoring for the Rocks were
Kristin Peltz (292), Ashley Krestschmer (284), Rachel Amodio (267) and
Emily Simmons (249).
Northville was led by Shelby Curlen's 376 series.
BOYS RESULTS
WAYNE 25, PLYMOUTH 5: Elliot
Arnold's ball was a regular visitor to the pocket for the Zebras as he
rolled games of 238 and 214. Kellen Collison also had a solid
afternoon, tossing games of 188 and 196.
Brandon Congdon and Rob Korstjens both excelled for the
Wildcats, throwing 403 series. Congdon turned in games of 180 and 223
while Korstjens carded a 200 and 203. Kyle Webb also bowled well for
Plymouth with 215 and 181 games.
SALEM 18, NORTHVILLE 12: The
Rocks overcame back-to-back 149 Baker game performances to oust the
Mustangs. Shaun Schmidt was spectacular, throwing games of 212 and 224.
Also excelling for the winners were David Nikkila (190 and 223), Kyle
Newcomb (202 and 203) and Ryan Clark, who rolled games of 194 and 216.
Ian Loudahl sparkled for the Mustangs with 214 and 256 games.
JOHN GLENN 27, CANTON 3: The
Rockets prevailed in spite of solid performances from the Chiefs' Ross
Terrasi, who threw games of 201 and 200, and Tristan Cummins, who
rolled 188 and 217 games.
The Rockets swept the Baker games before taking both regular
games, 944-916 and 1,014-896.
