Canton's
youth movement was moving along at a rapid pace Wednesday against
Walled Lake Central.
On a night when freshmen accounted for all the goal scoring, the
Chiefs prevailed, 3-2, over the Vikings in a KLAA cross-over match.
The victory left the Chiefs with a final regular-season record
of 10-7-2.
Daniel Ovesea scored the first and last goal for the winners.
They were sandwiched around Bobby Budlong's net-finder from Mitch
Posuniak. Budlong and Connor Furgason assisted on Ovesea's goals.
Kai Walther and Brandon Laabs split time between the pipes for
the Chiefs.
