Compuware Arena to host Learn to Skate and Learn to Play open house

  Compuware Arena will be hosting a Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey open house on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 5:10 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  Everyone is welcome to attend and everyone is encouraged to bring their friends and neighbors.

  Among the highlights of the open house are:

  * Free open skating and rentals;
  * Meet the Plymouth Whalers;
  * Meet Shooter, the Whalers' mascot;
  * Meet the instructors and helpers;
  * Meet Bubbles and Snowplow Sam;
  * Class registration and information will be available; and
  * Free refreshments will be available.

  Compuware Arena is located at 14900 Beck Rd. in Plymouth, MI, between M-14 and 5 Mile Rd.
