
Salem's
girls cross country team placed second at Saturday's Haslett
Invitational, earning a trophy along with first-place East Grand Rapids
(50 points) and and third-place East Lansing (107).
Led by four medalists, the Rocks compiled 85 points. Ann Arbor
Huron (110) and Walled Lake Western (144) filled out the top five spots.
Jordyn Moore led the Rocks with an eighth-place finish in
19:48.1. Also placing for Salem were Victoria Tripp (11th in 19:57.7),
Shannon Flynn (15th in 20:13.5) and Kara Booms, who placed 23rd with a
time of 20:35.9.
Also scoring for Salem was Ade Jepperson, who placed 28th in
20:41.8.
Kelly Kerwin (36th in 20:58.4) and Autumn Burin (21:16.4) also
ran well for Salem.
