Summer youth hoop camps offered

  A series of summer basketball camps will be held at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.

  The Canton Girls Basketball Camp will be held June 7-10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Canton High School. The camp is for girls who are entering 7th through 10th grades.

  The camp will be run by Canton head coach Brian Samulski, his coaching staff and returning members of the Chiefs' Class A "Final Four" team.

  The registration fee is $60 and every camper will receive a T-shirt.

  The Salem-Plymouth-Canton Girls Basketball Camp will be held June 28 through July 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day at Salem High School.

  The camp, which is for girls who will be entering 4th through 6th grades, will be run by Plymouth head coach Ted Sturdivant, Salem head coach Fred Thomann, Samulski and returning players from all three high school programs.

  The registration fee for the camp is $75. Each camper will receive a T-shirt and basketball.

  The Canton Boys and Girls Basketball Camp will be held July 12-15 at Canton from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. This camp is for boys and girls entering sixth through eighth grades.

  The camp will be run by Canton head boys coach Jimmy Reddy, Samulski, members of their coaching staffs and returning Chief players.

  The cost of the camp is $60. Each camper will receive a basketball and T-shirt.
