Senior captains lead Warriors to second straight district crown

  Lutheran High Westland captured its second consecutive Team District championship Thursday night by defeating Riverview Gabriel Richard 43-36 and Harper Woods 36-28. 

  Leading the way for the Warriors were their senior captains Laith Francis, Justin Palka, Sean Rowe, and Craig Kowalsky, who each won both their matches. Freshmen Martin Kemp and Adam Seta, and sophomore Matt Sankey also were double winners.

  Lutheran Westland now moves on to the Manchester Regional to face the winner of the Adrian-Mason District
