KLAA Central schools Northville and Novi had a very successful evening at the expense of a couple OAA White schools.  Farmington and North Farmington were both short a few starters and at least for the Falcons, it could have made the difference between 0-2 and 2-0.

  The host Mustangs opened up against North Farmington and were put in a 15-6 hole after dropping three of the first four matches.  However, Northville won the next nine bouts and cruised to a 39-21 victory.  It was a much tighter dual against Farmington.  Each team won seven matches, but Northville had four pins to three for Farmington and won 39-35.

  Northville wrestlers going 2-0 were Andy Boyd, Ian Stirton, Alex Hoffman, Travis Compo, and Jon Montgomery.

  The Falcons suffered an even closer loss against Novi in their first dual.  The dual started at 189 pounds and the Wildcat big guns, David Sparling and Alan Mencer, both won by fall.  After Justin Roe pinned for Farmington, the Falcons had to void 103.  Things were pretty even after that and Novi ended up winning 38-37.

  Going 2-0 for the Falcons were Justin Roe, Nimantha Herath, Kienuwa Davis, Mike Rankin, Nick Tomski, and Ryan Southerland.

  It was a tough night for North Farmington.  After dropping their first dual to Northville, the Raiders were beaten soundly by Novi, 48-25.  Individually, Drew Miller and Majd Mokbel had 2 pins each, and Jacob Redmer had a pin and a major decision.
