Sparked by the play of its three seniors, the Plymouth Christian
Academy volleyball team rolled to a 25-16, 25-6, 25-6 victory over
Birmingham Roeper on "Senior Night" Tuesday night.
The victory improved the Eagles' to 18-6-2 overall and 6-0 in
the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference.
Seniors Folake Olojo (10 kills, three blocks), Brianna Harris
(28 assists, 16 service points) and Abby Bartes (four aces, 19 service
points) all played well in their final home match.
"Our seniors really shined tonight," said PCA head coach Kelly
Blackney. "Folake attacked the ball better than she has all year and
Bri ran our offense with precise sets. Abby held our defensive line in
the back row and did a great job serving.
"Our team is so proud of our seniors, and we look forward to
continue to play our best."
Junior Kristin Malcolm had a huge night at the net for the
winners, chalking up 15 kills and four blocks. Amy Zinn also played
well, notching five kills.
The Eagles' next match is Thursday night at Ann Arbor Skyline.
