tryouts set for Aug. 7

  Tryouts for the 2011 Motor City Pirates travel baseball team will be held Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at Massey Field in Plymouth.

  Players from Plymouth, Canton and surrounding areas are welcome to participate.

  The Pirates are an independent travel baseball team that plays in the Kensington Valley Baseball Softball Association. The team plays its home games at Massey Field.

  The Pirates are coached by Angelo Lanava.
