Plymouth spikers sweep Livonia Franklin


  Plymouth's volleyball team had little trouble with Livonia Franklin Thursday night, defeating the Patriots, 25-19, 25-22, 25-9.

  The sweep improved the Wildcats to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the KLAA South Division.

  "Alex Roberts was dominant at the net with 10 kills," said Plymouth coach Kelly McCausland. "Kelly Smoltz also played well with seven kills."


  Other standouts for the winners were Mariah Tesarz (14 digs), Andrea Haidar (eight digs), Lindsay Stemberger (nine digs), Dani Risi (seven aces) and Katie Salo, who had 21 assists.
