Seniors Jordon Birman and Stacey Klonowski were honored as the
2010 Plymouth High School Student Athletes of the Year at Wednesday's
Honors Convocation.
Birman earned seven varsity letters at Plymouth: three in
football, two in wrestling and two in track and field. He has been a
three-sport athlete all four years in high school.
Before participating in wrestling and track, he played baseball
and basketball for the Wildcats. An AP Scholar and National Merit
Scholar, Birman has compiled a 3.93 grade-point average. He received
the Plymouth Key Award for AP Macro and Micro Economics, and the
Plymouth Football Boosters Scholarship.
Birman will be attending the Honors College at Michigan State
University, studying Political Science at the James Madison College.
Klonowski has earned eight varsity letters in four years at
Plymouth -- four each in basketball and and softball.
She has compiled a 3.92 grade-point average and will attend
Northwood University, where she earned an athletic scholarship.
