Quartet of goal scorers lead Plymouth lacrosse team to win

  Led by four multi-goal scorers, Plymouth's lacrosse team overwhelmed South Lyon, 15-10, Monday night on the PCEP junior varsity field.

  Pat Smiatacz led the way with give goals and two assists while Ryan Renault added three goals and four assists. Phil Flesch (three goals, one assist) and Mike Olevnik (two goals, one assist) also had big offensive nights for the 'Cats.

  Conor Downey and Tyler Jasin also scored goals for the winners.

  "Drew Leist and Brad Finch were excellent between the lines for us tonight," said Plymouth coach Brian Walsh.

  Plymouth's defense was anchored by junior goalie Mike Justus, who recorded 13 saves. Alex Miller and Ethan Christensen combined for seven ground balls.

  "Ben Burkman had some of the best plays of the game with his wrap check that knocked the stick out of the South Lyon players' hand."
