
Plymouth's boys and girls bowling teams were finding the pocket
with regularity on Friday during their sweeping triumph over Walled
Lake Northern in a match held at Wonderland Lanes.
The Wildcat girls edged the Knights, 16-14 thanks in large part
to earning four points in each of the Baker games -- 157-107 and
142-115.
Mackenzie Carlson paced the winners with a two-game series of
319 (144 and 175 games). Also performing well were Tiffani Patterson
(300), Caitlyn Webb (295) and Emily Fraser (294).
Allyson Gibbs rolled a 141 in game two.
Northern was led by Rachel Mackenzie's 385.
Plymouth's boys rolled over the Knights, 24-6. Evan Grimme was
the main man for the 'Cats, posting games of 272 and 194. Eric Thompson
was also solid, turning in games of 190 and 217.
Also contributing to the victory were Rob Korstjens (382) and
Brandon Congdon (380).
Justin Thompson rolled a 171 in game one.
Josh Scribner led Northern with a two-game set of 412.
The Knights was the boys junior-varsity match, 23-7. Sean Silagy
led the Wildcats with a two-game series of 323. Burhan Yaish threw a
solid 166 game in the second match.
