Plymouth's boys cross country team followed the trail to victory
Tuesday when it upended Livonia Churchill, 20-40.
The 5-0 Wildcats, who clinched the KLAA South Division title,
are unbeaten in dual meets for three consecutive seasons.
As usual, Joe Porcari and Derek Gielarowski led the way,
finishing first and second, respectively, in 16:46 and 16:57.
Churchill's Tom Windle placed third in 17:23, just ahead of
Plymouth's fourth-place runner Nick Eiben, who posted a 17:28 clocking.
Ryan Wise earned fifth-place points for the Chargers, but the
Wildcats placed sixth through eighth thanks to strong efforts from Liam
Cardenas (17:38), Brandon Dalton (17:44) and Justin Heck (17:46).
Zane Berlanga placed 10th for Plymouth with a time of 18:02.
