Plymouth's boys golf team
qualified for the Division 1 state meet for the first time in school
history Thursday after placing second in the Regional tournament held
at West Shore Country Club in Grosse Ile.
The Wildcats fired a school-record round of 300 to finish behind
only Bedford's 297. Northville placed third.
Ryan Reickhoff paced the 'Cats with a one-over 73. Also turning
in stellar rounds were Josh Heinze (74), Justin Bauer (76), Ryan Bauer
(77) and James Bryans (77).
The Wildcats move on to the Division 1 state meet, which is set
for June 11 and 12 at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing.
