Plymouth's baseball team pushed its record above .500 Monday afternoon thanks to an impressive 11-1 victory over South Lyon East.

The game was stopped after five innings due to the MHSAA 10-run mercy rule.

Junior lefty Mike Nadratowski earned the win on the mound, scattering five hits while striking out five in five innings. The only run the Cougars scored came in the first.

Matt Priebe's two-run single sparked the Wildcats' two-run first inning. They never trailed thereafter.

The game-ending hit came in the fifth when Jake Beauchamp singled in Kevin Lozier, who was inserted as a courtesy runner for Rich Guglelmi.

Priebe had a great day at the plate, tallying two hits, two runs scored and three RBI. Freshman Jamarl Eiland added two hits and two ribbies while Nadratowski scored three times.

Plymouth is now 12-11 overall and 7-8 in the KLAA Kensington Conference.
