quarterfinals tickets available

  Tickets for Tuesday night's Class A girls basketball quarterfinal showdown between Canton (23-1) and Midland Dow (20-4) can be purchased at the Canton athletic department office in Phase III Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  The tickets cost $6.

  The game will be played at Davison High School, which is located at 1250 North Oak Rd. in Davison. Davison is approximately an hour-and-15-minute drive from Canton.

  The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to Friday's 1 p.m. Class A semifinal contest against the winner of Tuesday night's Grosse Pointe North-Detroit Renaissance's clash.

  Friday's semifinal and Saturday's final will be played at Michigan State University's Breslin Center.

  Canton will be making its first quarterfinal appearance since 1994.
