Salem takes bite out of Bulldogs, 2-1

  Salem's soccer team downed Brighton, 2-1, Wednesday night to earn a dose of momentum heading into Monday's Division 1, District 5 tournament against Plymouth.

  The victory boosted the Rocks' record to 12-4-4. Salem finished fifth in the final KLAA association standings.

  Alex Tramel gave the Rocks a 1-0 first-half advantage before the Bulldogs drew even seconds before halftime.

  Evan Antich deposited the game-winning goal 15 minutes into the second half.
