Kristina Klusek and Emily
Lundh each recorded two goals and an assist to lead Salem's unbeaten
soccer team to a 5-0 triumph over visiting South Lyon East Thursday
night.
The Rocks improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the KLAA Central
Division.
"South Lyon East is a young team and played a very tough, fast
game," said Salem coach Joe Nora. "As their program grows, I see them
improving each year.
"They played a smart defensive game which limited our chances on
goal. The girls did a great job of finding each other and finishing
when we did get through."
Mackenzie Rogers also scored a goal for the Rocks. Tori Quinn
(two) and Lindsey Newton notched assists.
Jamie Hunley made three saves to register her third shutout of
the season.
