Rocks maintain first place
cushion in KLAA Central Division

  Salem's girls cross country team improved to 3-0 in the KLAA Central Division Tuesday afternoon with a 20-47 victory over Livonia Stevenson.

  Stevenson's Karlie Gallagher was the first runner to cross the finish line, posting a time of 20:25, but the Rocks' depth prevail as the next seven harriers to cross the stripe were wearing royal blue uniforms.

  Alejandra Beltran was the first Rock to finish, placing second in 20:30. Also scoring for the victors were Emily Bizon (20:50), Shannon Flynn (20:53), Kayla Kavulich (20:53) and Amanda Beyer (21:12).

  Stevenson's Allison Gudeman placed ninth in 21:22.

  Also running well for Salem were: Autumn Burin (21:15), Adrianna Beltran (21:21), Kara Booms (21:23), Natasha Stevenson (21:47), Emily Marcero (22:38) and Meghan Flynn (22:40).
