Salem's swim and dive team earned at least a year's worth of cross-campus bragging rights against Canton Tuesday night by surging past the host Chiefs, 111-75.

The victory improved the Rocks' record to 4-3 heading into Tuesday's second-straight "Park" rivalry meet against Plymouth.

Salem's balanced attack was led by junior Adam Seroka, the meet's only two-time individual winner.  Seroka, state qualifier his first two seasons at Salem, won the  200-yard individual medley in 2:01.49, four seconds faster than Canton's Jin Jay; and the 100 butterfly,  an event the Rocks went 1-2-3 with runner-up Jeremy Wellman and third-place Patrick Huls.

Other individual winners for Salem were  Max Mills (200 freestyle), Matt Collingwood (100 freestyle), Jeremy Wellman (100 backstroke) and Smaran Bhaktawara (100 breaststroke).

The Chiefs' two first-place performers were Victor Zhang,m who won the 50 free in 22.52, less than one-tenth of a second faster than Collingwood, and Jay Jin, who nipped teammate Kyle Kemp in the 500 free by .69 of a second.
