Two Whalers selected within minutes of each other in Saturday's NHL Draft

Plymouth Whalers Scott Wedgewood and Austin Levi entered the NHL Saturday afternoon kind of like twins enter the world - within minutes of each other.

Wedgewood, who enjoyed a breakout season between the pipes for the Whalers this past season, was selected in the third round with the 84th pick overall by the New Jersey Devils.

One pick later, Levi, a tall, talented defenseman, was taken with the 85th selection by the Carolina Panthers.

In all likelihood, the pair will return for another season with the Whalers.

The same can't be said for Plymouth's first-round pick, Tyler Seguin, who has a great shot of sticking with the Boston Bruins out of training camp.
