The Plymouth Whalers made
three deals in the hours leading up to Monday's noon Ontario Hockey
League trade deadline.
The Whalers acquired 19-year-old James Livingston from Sault
Ste. Marie in exchange for 18-year-old Myles McCauley.
The team also secured 19-year-old center Philip McRae from
London in exchange for 18-year-old left wing Tyler J. Brown, third- and
fourth-round picks in 2010 and fifth- and eighth-round draft picks in
2012.
The Whalers final move came when they traded JR Marsden to
Guelph for future considerations.
Livingston and McRae are expected to report to Plymouth Monday
and will make their Whalers debut Friday when Plymouth hosts Barrie at
7:05 p.m. at Compuware Arena.
