Thursday night's Livonia Collegiate Baseball League game between Coach's Corner and the Lakes Area Dodgers had a definite local flavor.

Three of Coach's Corner's starters and one relief pitcher have Plymouth-Canton ties while Dodgers center fielder Cory Amble is a Canton resident.

Helping lead Coach's Corner to a 3-1 victory were former Plymouth High School standouts Garrett Rebain, who caught and played first base; and Brad Lineberry, who manned the shortstop position; and 2009 Canton grad Dan Stoney, who played right field and contributed a key RBI double.

Canton alum Erik Wright pitched the final two hitless innings to notch a save.

Coach's Corner's roster also includes ex-Wildcat Cliff Buttermore, who pitched for Concordia College in the spring. Former Canton catching standout Tarek Khasawneh is a coach for Coach's Corner.
