
Salem's
volleyball team improved to 9-2-1 Thursday with a three-game sweep of
South Lyon East in a make-up game played at East.
"Overall, the girls played well and kept their focus throughout
the entire match," said Salem coach Amanda Suder.
The Rocks won by scores of 25-9, 25-9 and 25-19.
Key players for the winners included Lauren Dworzanin (six
kills, eight digs), Kerry MacDonald (24 assists, seven aces), Nicole
Merget (nine kills, four blocks) and Lauren Aschermann (10 digs).
The Rocks are 2-0 in the KLAA Central Division.
